Our easy-to-use Merit Wallet app will have you up-and-running in minutes. The app allows you to create any number of Merit Wallets for a variety of purposes (eg. daily spending, vacation savings, etc.)
The Merit blockchain was purpose-built to make it easy for people to adopt the currency and spread the word. Merit's EasySend feature makes it frictionless to send money to friends, family, and colleagues. You do not need someone's Merit address, nor do you even need to know if they are a member of the Merit community. You can simply SMS or Email them Merit, and they can create a wallet and claim it.
You can send Merit one of three easy ways:
1) Look up any contact in your address book, and send via email or SMS.
2) Scan the QR code from their Merit Wallet.
3) Send to a Merit address (a combination of letters and numbers, similar to a bitcoin address.)
The Merit app also makes it easy to receive money from friends. You can even request a specific amount of Merit. You can tap to copy the Merit request to your clipboard, or simply show a friend the QR Code to scan it.
Merit's innovative vaulting feature allows users to protect their assets and have the peace-of-mind of not requiring a central bank or third-party. You can harness the safety and security of Vaults on the Merit network directly through the mobile app. You can create a new vault, deposit money into it, and manage the access parameters all through the mobile application.
